Founder & CEO Nanette Rickenbach balances her career as a corporate attorney—advising clients across banking, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals—while building Solsoller.

"Creating a line of makeup and skincare for evolving skin has been both a challenge and a personal mission — every formula is developed with my own skin in mind. I’ve always admired brands that approach beauty as an art of intention and detail.

For years, Natura Bissé was my favorite skincare brand — their commitment to quality and craftsmanship captured everything I believed beauty should be.

But it was during a trip to Sóller, Spain, when I witnessed firsthand the philosophy behind Natura Bissé, that something shifted. That experience — seeing the artistry, care, and purpose that went into their formulations — became the trigger. It was the moment I realized that beauty could be both intelligent and emotional, scientific yet deeply human.

Although Natura Bissé became our North Star, Solsoller goes beyond — creating curated collections with purpose and narrative. We don’t chase mass production or endless SKUs; we build limited, meaningful collections that evoke a feeling, tell a story, and serve a real purpose.

Our first collection, Palma D’Or, was designed to recreate the effect of sun-kissed, cared-for skin — inspired by the effortless glow of Sóller and the balance between radiance and restoration."

From New York to Colombia, Italy, Spain, and South Korea, Nanette has collaborated with laboratories and artisans to craft clean, intelligent, and luminous formulations that merge science, design, and soul — redefining what beauty means for skin that evolves beautifully.
