There are brands born in laboratories, and others born from vision—shaped by discipline, emotion, and the pursuit of refinement. Solsoller belongs to the latter.

At the center of the house is Nanette Rickenbach, corporate attorney, strategist, and founder, who redefined her professional path to create a beauty brand where structure meets sensuality.

For decades, Nanette built a respected career in corporate law, founding her own firm and advising clients across banking, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries. Known for her analytical rigor and relentless precision, she developed a professional philosophy grounded in discipline, systems thinking, and long-term strategy. Solsoller was conceived with that same framework—never as a trend-driven beauty brand, but as an intentional house built on formulation integrity and curated design.

Her personal search for skincare and makeup capable of delivering authentic, visible results began in early adulthood and evolved alongside her own skin. Over time, this search revealed a gap between performance and emotional experience—between scientific innovation and the ritual of beauty itself.

That perspective crystallized during a transformative journey to Sóller, Mallorca, where Mediterranean light, artisanal culture, and natural abundance shaped the creative language of the brand. There, the wild mandarin—deeply rooted in the region—became the emblem of Solsoller, symbolizing vitality, origin, and quiet strength.

Solsoller operates exclusively through mood-driven capsule collections. The house does not follow traditional seasonal calendars, mass launches, or continuous product expansion. Each release is intentionally edited and developed as a complete emotional and functional experience—capturing a specific state of light, atmosphere, and ritual. The capsule format is not a strategy; it is the structural philosophy of the brand.

The house debuted with Palma D’Or, a makeup capsule inspired by the golden pigments of Sóller, translating Mediterranean luminosity into a restrained, performance-driven collection that honored the brand’s place of origin.

The evolution continued with The Hydration Bar®, a gender-inclusive skincare capsule developed in South Korea–based labs, guided by barrier science, balance, and longevity for evolving skin. The collection reflects Solsoller’s commitment to merging laboratory precision with sensorial ritual.

For Nanette, creating for evolving skin is not positioning—it is lived experience. Every formula is developed with personal scrutiny, professional rigor, and a deep respect for beauty as craftsmanship.

Our Canvas and Brainstorming Venue

Perched atop a historic fortress originally built to guard the Bay of Palma, Cap Rocat represents a triumph of restoration and architectural brilliance. Transforming this remarkable structure into a luxury hotel was no small feat, especially while adhering to the strict regulations of a building declared a Cultural Heritage Site.

Nestled within a Protected Natural Area, Cap Rocat seamlessly blends into its breathtaking surroundings. Every detail of its transformation was meticulously overseen by Antonio Obrador.

Brewing Behind the Scenes

The journey to creating our first makeup collection, Palma D’Or, began with one crucial step: identifying top-tier manufacturers that meet the highest global quality certifications.

From production lines to packaging selection, legal meetings on quality standards, beauty trade shows, travels, and endless late nights of hard work—all while continuing my profession as a lawyer. A profession that has been essential in building both our company and our brand.

February 5th, 2025

Launch day, Solsoller is now live

We celebrated our first step in the ecommerce world by selling our very first product. After countless hours of reviewing and perfecting formulas, testing and applying thousands of pigments, on February 5, 2025, Solsoller proudly launched.

What’s next? A skincare line designed for ultimate hydration and a stunning palette of lipsticks and eyeshadows.
